The Cochise College Marketing, Communications and Advancement team earned top honors at the National Council for Marketing & Public Relations (NCMPR) District 6 conference held on Nov. 8 in Tucson. The team received five Medallion Awards, a prestigious recognition of excellence in marketing and public relations at two-year community and technical colleges across the United States.
The team was recognized for its Creating Futures campaign.

“These awards hold a special significance because they highlight the work our marketing
team accomplishes,” said Robyn Martin, assistant dean for marketing, communications,
and advancement at Cochise College. “Our goal is to create meaningful campaigns, and
it’s incredibly rewarding to see our efforts acknowledged in such a remarkable way.”
The awards highlight the creative and impactful strategies employed by the marketing team, reflecting their expertise in design, storytelling and student engagement.
NCMPR’s District 6 includes colleges in Arizona, California, Hawaii, Nevada, Utah, Guam, the Commonwealth of Northern Mariana Islands, Federated States of Micronesia, and the Republic of the Marshall Islands. The annual Medallion Awards showcase the best in marketing and communication across the region.
The marketing and communications team includes Robyn Martin, assistant dean of marketing; Sharrina Cook-General, media & communications manager/PIO; Dan Gordon, web administrator; Dani Foti, graphic designer/ photographer; Donna Brown, digital media marketing coordinator; and James Roth, multimedia content specialist. Together, they develop and implement strategic initiatives to elevate awareness of Cochise College and connect with students from diverse backgrounds.
